Our Land Lease Program works by you leasing your home site within the community, instead of buying the land on which your home is sited. When leasing land in Heritage Acres you have the same rights of enjoyment on your leased site as you would on an owned site, and you’ll enjoy the relaxation and recreation of the adult community, without paying any upfront property costs. You won’t pay any real estate taxes or municipal fees on your leased home site. You simply pay a land lease fee each month with no additional property costs.
The homeowner is responsible for paying the land lease each month. Also they are responsible for paying general utilities on the home consisting of electric, water, gas, cable, and lot maintenance. Each home runs on city water and also has an option to run on natural gas. Each lot is maintained by the homeowner, this typically consists of lawn mowing and hedge trimming.
